He added: “If it doesn’t feel appropriate to come back and someone does an absolute Cheryl Cole and is like, ‘Screw you guys, I’m still doing brilliant’, then that’s totally natural.”

IMAGINE DRAGONS – night visions tour, Montreal

Over the past few days, I have been a really busy music blogger… In other words, I have a lot of amazingly great concerts to blog about. I’ve seen them all; from a really small concert with a 50 people audience to a Bell Center concert with more than 17 000 fans attending. I’ve been to Montreal but I also traveled to Boston to tell you guys all about the best shows to see these days!

The first concert I got to attend was Imagine Dragons at the Bell Center in Montreal. When I first bought my tickets, I never thought the show would sell out this fast! There were more than 17 000 screaming fans singing along to only the best Imagine Dragons songs.

I usually love showing up at concerts early enough to catch all of the amazing opening acts but, this time, I was a little bit disappointed… I don’t think they were the right kind of bands to warm up the crowd and get everyone ready for the amazing concert Imagine Dragons put on right after. Though, the 17 000 fans in the audience stayed true to what everyone knows Montreal for; they were loud and they showed them love! After talking to a few people after the concert, I think half the crowd discovered two new great bands and the other half shares my opinion…

I know for sure, though, that everyone enjoyed the amazing vocals and musical capacities Imagine Dragons demonstrated through out their entire set. They came out strong, kept it up all along and finished just as strong if not more… The boys played almost all of the songs on their new album ‘’Night Visions’’, a few older ones and they even played a few new ones for the fans. The crowd was even louder than it already was for the other bands and the guys enjoyed it tons; they said they had never received so much love from an audience before and I think I even saw a few tears from M. Reynolds… I thought a crowd couldn’t possibly scream louder than it already was but I was wrong, Imagine Dragons finished the concert with their new single and their biggest hit while wearing Habs jerseys. The crowd went wild! Montreal lives through music and hockey, imagine when the two are mixed together…

If you have the chance to catch the boys from Imagine Dragons on tour, do it! You definitely wont regret it, they are amazingly talented and they put on an amazing concert. Check out their website for their next tour dates and go grab their new single ‘’Monster’’ on iTunes right now!

Much Much love,                                                                                                                    FRED<3

EP – Drifter

Release Date – January 21st, 2014
Genre – Country

This three song release from country/pop artist Emily Reid blends country with pop in a seamless way and shows her musical talent. Albeit a short EP, it does not disappoint.

The songs “Be Your Last” seems to be about Reid’s journey from Canada to America when she started to pursue her music. “Ain’t Nothin’” is a slower song compared to the other two songs, with a more laid back vibe to it. “The River” picks up the pace again with catchy music and beautiful vocals.

Over all this EP is impressive and very enjoyable to listen to. You should definitely give it a chance if you are a fan of country music.

New Single: There For Tomorrow “Dark Purple Sky”

Originally posted on Music Creates Us:

After about two and a half years, There For Tomorrow is back with a new single, “Dark Purple Sky.” The band took some time to tour, including Vans Warped Tour 2011 and their first headlining tour with a brief tour in the UK and Europe.  In December 2013, There For Tomorrow announced they would be releasing a new EP in early 2014, from which “Dark Purple Sky” is the first single.

The familiar sounds of There For Tomorrow return with “Dark Purple Sky.”  The strong drums of Chris Kamrada and the talent of guitarist, Christian Climer, dominate the background in the signature TFT way.  It is a comfort to fans who have been waiting for new music that the band has not changed since recording their last album, The Verge, which was released in June of 2011.  At the same time however, it leaves TFT feeling a little stuck…

Emblem Three, MKTO & Jackson Guthy -Band Life tour Montreal

LOUD is the only word to describe this concert but my blog post can’t be 1 word long so here is my opinion on the Band Life tour concert in Montreal…

First act first; Jackson Guthy! I don’t think the Montreal girls could be more in love with this cutie. They were screaming louder than ever and Jackson just couldn’t believe it. He went from up beat songs to slow ones without ever loosing the audience’s attention. He even practiced his french and flirting skills with all the girls by saying and I quote: ”J’aime tes fasse”… I think he meant to say I love your face even thought it sounded more like I love your butt, oups! The girls loved it though ;)

Then comes MKTO, a band that is a perfect mix of rap and pop! Even though the audience seemed to know they’re song a little less than they knew Jackson’s they looked like they were having an amazing time and it’s probably because these boys know exactly how to start a party! Their cover of Royals was P.E.R.F.E.C.T. and everyone says exactly the same! I need a studio version of that!!! They also finished their set with their newest single; Classic… This one got everyone in the audience jumping up and down, it definitely ended their set the right way!

Now, who better than the hot boys from Emblem3 to end the show and, like I said before, I have never heard something so loud! The fans were going crazy and the boys were as crazy if not crazier than them. From singing everyone’s favourite songs to skateboarding on stage, the boys nailed everything they were doing! You wouldn’t think it’s possible but every time they would hip trust or lift up their shirt, which they did quite a lot of times, the girls would go even crazier! They ended their set with a cover of Hotel California which got all the parents in the house singing along and with their first single, the one that got them into the Xfactor, Sunset Boulevard!

It is the perfect concert for pop music fans, check out Emblem3′s website for all of their upcoming tour dates. You can also grab E3′s first album and Jackson and MKTO’s singles on iTunes and in store.

Much Much Love,                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Fred<3

DOWN WITH WEBSTER – #P4YLtour Montreal

Not so long ago, on valentines day to be precise, this awesome Canadian band finished their tour in Montreal… The boys from Down With Webster along with D’pryde and Saw Real made everyone at the Corona theatre party for their life on that special night where nothing but the music mattered. Down With Webster’s music is qualified as rap/pop rock and hip hop but I would say it’s party music!

The only thing bad about that concert probably was that the pre show was REALLY long… It was full of talented rappers but extremely long! The boys always know how to mix the perfect amount of older songs with the new ones, they play only the best and they definitely know how to make everybody ”turn up”!

The party really started when the boys from DWW came on stage! With their weird clothes and hair styles, their bottles of alcohol, their red cups, Pat’s amazing voice, Bucky and Camm’s mad rapping skills, Marty’s epic drum solos, Tyler’s multi-talented and fun side and Diggy’s amazing djing, they are the right kind of wrong!

It wasn’t a normal valentine’s day activity but it was Perfect; you can never be disappointed after a Down With Webster concert! I can’t wait to go see them in concert next time they come and you should take a look at their website to find out when they will be coming near you! You can also grab their new album on iTunes and in store. It sounds great so if I was you, I would buy it ASAP!

Much Much Love,                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Fred<3                                                                                                                    Image

New & Improved Hot Chelle Rae Release Anthem “Don’t Say Goodnight”

Originally posted on TechtonicPop.com:

With groups and bands, there always comes a time when one member decides the journey is not right for them. In this case, it was frontman Ian of Hot Chelle Rae. Instead of calling it quits, the new trio are back and ready to take over 2014 with the awesome jam “Don’t Say Goodnight”! The track has an anthem quality similar to past songs by HCR! No shade, but I prefer the new lead vocalist and his voice better to be honest! There seems to be a real focus on delivering quality and heartfelt vocals this go-around! We can’t wait for the video and hopefully we get to interview the guys again! Who’s loving the new and improved HCR? Comment below and let me know!
